Billing & cancellation

Free trial
New businesses get a 30-day free trial with Complete features. No card is needed to start. When the trial ends, choose a plan to keep everything running. Your data stays safe either way.
Plans and renewal
Plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until you cancel. Prices are shown on the Plan & billing page before you pay, and sales tax is added where required.
Upgrading
Upgrades take effect right away. Stripe charges or credits the difference for the rest of the month.
Downgrading
If your new plan includes fewer brands (DBAs) or store locations than you use, everything keeps working for 15 days after the change. After that, the extra brands become read-only. You can still see their history, delete them, or move their items and customers into your main business. New sales that arrive on a read-only brand are recorded under your main business, so nothing is lost. Upgrading again brings them back.
Cancelling
Cancel any time from Plan & billing. You keep access until the end of the month you've paid for. We don't refund partial months, except where the law requires it.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, Stripe retries it and we'll let you know. Your data is never locked, but some features may pause until billing is fixed.
After you cancel
We keep your data for 90 days in case you return or want to export it, then permanently delete it. Want it deleted sooner? Ask support.
Refunds
We refund a charge in full when you contact support within 30 days of it and it was a mistake on the billing side:
- You were charged twice for the same month.
- You were charged after you'd already cancelled.
- You were charged for the wrong plan (for example, an accidental upgrade you reversed right away).
- Champ was unavailable for a meaningful part of the month because of a problem on our side.
Refunds don't cover months you simply didn't use, or forgetting to cancel. Cancelling stops the next charge, and you keep access until the end of the month you paid for.
